Dr Wail Girgis is our resident specialist prosthodontist and implant surgeon here at Rowtree Dental Care. With over 30 years of experience, Wail has a strong background in advanced restorative and implant dentistry.

He qualified from King’s College London in 1990 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1999. He has been on the GDC specialist list in Prosthodontics since 2002.

Before joining Rowtree, Wail worked for many years at Devonshire House in Cambridge, where he served as Clinical Director. He also holds a teaching role at the Eastman Dental Hospital, supervising postgraduate students in implant surgery and advanced restorative care. He’s known for his skills in complex treatments, including full-mouth rehabilitation, advanced implant placement, and bone grafting procedures.

Outside the clinic, Wail enjoys travelling, staying active, and winding down with the occasional spicy drink. Friendly and approachable, he brings both clinical excellence and a personal touch to the care he provides.
