Vocational Trainer of the Year 2005

Geraint Evans established Rowtree Dental Care in 1996 when he moved from his original practice in West Hunsbury, which he set up in 1988. He has sold the practice to Ronak and Priyesh and now works part-time as an associate.

Geraint has a Master’s Degree in Advanced General Practice and Postgraduate Certificates in Implant Dentistry and Medical Education. He mixes treatment of complex cases with the care of his regular patients, many of whom have been patients for over 30 years.

In the past, Geraint was involved with dental education. Geraint won the title of Vocational Trainer of the Year for the UK in 2005.

Helping to develop the careers of young dentists has been an important and rewarding part of his career, and their continued success gives him great satisfaction.

Geraint is a member of the British Dental Association and the Association of Implant Dentistry. He is also a long-serving member of the Northamptonshire Local Dental Committee.

The practice is brilliant. My daughter is really happy coming here even though she’s scared of dentists. Her dentist has been the same all the years she’s been registered, is kind, friendly and explains everything directly to Ellie. The reception staff are the same too. Excellent treatment always given, my particular practitioner is Mrs Brown. I am very anxious about dentists but she has been so gentle, kind and always explains things thoroughly and I am given the option for treatment to be stopped if I get too anxious.
